Why the name chickadee?

What's in a name? You might think that chickadee boutique got it's name from the movie tittle "My little chickadee" staring May West and WC. Fields. What a combination! Or that it's from the cute little bird you may see on an early morn.

But the origin of our store's name comes simply from an endearing term that I used to call my children. I would often say "come here my little chickadees." Now that I have another child; the store. It seemed obvious to me to call it chickadee.

I love the elegant look of our store paired with the "must haves" of accessories and fashion. I can't wait to meet all the fashionistas of the heights. See you in our little store!
